Noche Mexicana Fundraiser

Join us for a Fellowship Dine-Out Night! (And it’s a Fundraiser too)

CGS is hosting a Restaurant/Dine-out Fundraiser Night at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant in Nashua, NH on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM. So, mark your calendars, spread the word, share the flyer, and plan to bring your family and friends! Margaritas will donate 20% of your bill to CGS, good for dine-in and outdoor seating only (not on delivery or takeout). The money raised will go to CGS’ general fund to support our ministries. All you have to do is notify the server when you sit down and hand them the flyer below (or show electronically) that you are there to support CGS’ fundraiser and then enjoy your meal. Questions contact Mary O’Reilly at moreilly@cgsnashua.org.

Contemplative Prayer

Contemplative Prayer and Brown Bag Lunch and Book Study

Every Monday at 11:30am we will gather in the sanctuary of the Church for a half hour of quiet Contemplative Prayer. We'll follow our prayer time with Book Study and brown bag lunch. All are welcome to join!

Contemplative prayer is a practice of centering yourself in prayer and opening to God's presence. After Prayer we will move to the Lounge for lunch and book discussion. We will be reading books that deepen our spiritual journey and challenge us to broaden our theological understanding.

You may join us for both, or come just for prayer or for book study. If you come to the book study, feel free to bring a lunch.

Our book starting in January 2024 is Jim Forest’s Book, The Road to Emmaus: Pilgrimage as a Way of Life.

I hope to see you there! Pastor Kathy
