Some prepare the altar for services including the sacred vessels and flowers. Others prepare the linens. Members set up for all services: Sundays, Holy Days, weddings, funerals and baptisms. Looking for an opportunity to go a bit deeper into church happenings than what can be covered in our weekly announcements? Join Pastor Kathy and members of the Vestry for our second Rector's Meeting. At this meeting we will give highlights on what's going on at the church, let you know about opportunities to get involved, answer questions, and pray together. A subsequent Rector's meeting will be held in June. Together with our previous Rector’s Meeting in November and Annual Meeting in January, it is my hope that these occasions will provide opportunities throughout the church year for us to touch base and catch up on the various happenings here at CGS.

Good Shepherd’s youth program provides education and fellowship for students in grades 8 through 12. This spiritual formation program for young people celebrates their individuality and creative potential. It instructs them in skills needed for successful adult participation in the church and society. In the process, the youth build a community of friends and find their ministry niche through fellowship and service.

Confirmation classes focus on the 5 Marks of Love: Tell, Teach, Tend, Transform and Treasure.
