"Take the Other to Lunch" Challenge

Elizabeth Lesser's TED Talk & The Nashua Interfaith Council

In order to further dialogue across the political spectrum locally , this Sprint the Nashua Area Interfaith Council(NAIC) is asking its members to consider committing to what author Elizabeth Lesser speaks about in her TED Talk on "Taking the Other to Lunch". As NAIC President, Pastor Alanna has pledged 15 lunches that members of Church of the Good Shepherd will participate in towards this goal- she herself will be participating as well! The immediate aim is not to find common ground on policy solutions, but by flooding our community with these conversations to leave less room for the politics of hate, division, fear, and personal destruction. If you want to take up this challenge and are interested in learning more contact Pastor Alanna.
